Vivid, powerful, and radiant—The Day She Hung the Sun tells the story of creation and resilience through bold lines, layered textures, and shimmering metallic detail. The sun itself is brought to life with gold foil, catching the light and adding a luminous, ever-changing dimension to the work.
This original 14 x 17 inch mixed media painting is both intimate and commanding, evoking themes of strength, imagination, and the power to shape one’s own universe.
